After two days, I finished rewriting the code to switch away from Meta's SDK to Unity XR.

This will hopefully fix the issues about the game not starting in SteamVR or controllers not showing up for some people.

As a nice bonus, this improves the menu interactions and grabbing. The small ladder even works now, but waifus can't stand up there yet.

well that's ...different. it crashes to desktop on the title screen for me now :v

you might have grabbed a broken version. I replaced within an hour a build that would crash. Please re-download, sorry.

OK! looks like i got the new one now, all the features seem to be working like there supposed to. :D

still some weirdness with a sudden drop to the floor level when moving from the starting spot, but the height adjustment buttons can correct it for now. also a point to teleport line going off sideways instead of where your pointing when you activate it

again, good work on the big compatibility fix!

A friend of mine also has the same issue, it might be related to some steamVR setups. I will do some testing with him to see if we can fix this.

However, what do you mean by teleport lines are going sideways? If you can give additional details or send screenshots that would really help.

ok looks like its the right stick when pushed foreword, a red line comes out in the direction the pointer finger is bent, the sideways must have been from it not being able to straiten all the way :p

if its supposed to do something, it doesn't seem to
